2010 Mac mini optical drive replacement and harddrive upgrade.

Mijn probleem

The optical drive had failed and I wished to replace the stock harddrive with a solid state drive.

Mijn oplossing

Perfectly. It was not nearly as difficult as it first appeared, but I certainly could not have done it without the guide, nor without the tools.

Mijn advies

Removal of the power supply requires that one lift slightly the tab through which its fastening screw passes. I had a heck of time getting the power supply to slide out until a realized this.
