I had some money on me so I saw this kit and figured "It comes with everything at a cheap price so why not?" I've been without my Ps3 for about..3years I think but aaanyway, long story short: I took like 9hrs fixing it lol I know others have done it in a lot shorter time, but for starters I wasn't even able to go back to the darn guide after looking at it the day before(had to open a cached page of it) and it's not as accurate as I had hoped. That being said, it's a very detailed and helpful guide so props to them on that. I had to unscrew some parts and when the pads got stuck to my shorts and I realized it halfway through fixing it, I had to take back apart and I wasn't sure about what all needed the thermal paste. Also IMPORTANT: It does not include cloth to clean off the paste or the arctic clean thermal paste cleaner. I used Alcohol as an alternative though, works for me. My PS3 was working after putting it back together but the fan was loud as hell(even though I cleaned it and sprayed out the dust with compressed air), but apparently it might be like that and there's a "30hr" method(google it) before the fan gets quieter. Also while putting it back together, part of the case didn't wanna go back but if all you care about is whether or not it works, then it's no prob.

Mijn advies

Buy a can of compressed air and alcohol(unless you can get some thermal paste cleaner) while you wait for your package.

Keep track of your screws or be screwed(lol) I managed to make tiny bowls out of paper and number them.

Not sure what cloth you can use to clean off the paste, I had one that was made for cleaning my old DS but some material like it says(glasses cleaning cloth or something)

Try not to have the pads sticking onto your clothes. Hahah..ha...

Also, be sure to Google any safety precautions you may have to take, like elevating it if needed or the space needed or how long to play it etc.

I'll update this a few months from now if I remember unless it happens again.
