Mijn probleem

My iMac would no longer power on. It was dead! After a little research I determined it was the power supply. I LOVE this computer and started and run my company on this computer (BigWorldNetwork.com). I use it for editing audiobooks, working on site design and a million other tasks. I owed it only the best care!

Mijn oplossing

The repair went well. I really enjoyed the 'surgery'. I know people say you don't need the suction cups, but 1.) It was well worth it to give IFIXIT the sale for the excellent free guide and the money they saved me. 2.) They made the lifting easier and 3.) They are cool! Seriously.

Mijn advies

Take your time! Keep things organized. The disconnecting of some connections was difficult since the connections are delicate, but I was able to do it with no issues. Thanks IFIXIT! My apple authorized service store wanted $150 for the repair- not including the part! That's real money in my pocket. Enough to get upgraded memory for my iMac! :-) P.S.- Yeah, I totally have the Miami Vice lighting going on with my setup in the picture. Never let go of the 80's! I spent $27 on LED lights with the money I saved!
