My phone kept randomly turning off despite indicating it had 30% or more battery life remaining. This would happen often when I was using a GPS-related app while working out OR using my navigation software. The phone would not turn back on until it was plugged in and charging. Super inconvenient!

The repair itself was fantastic! The step-by-step guide, in tandem with the video which was clearer in some areas, were both extremely helpful. The only issue was that neither of the included screw drivers would remove the internal screw -- I had to find a tiny flathead driver to remove it. Once that was done, the replacement was a piece of cake. The process took me about 30 minutes as my phone was one with a LOT of adhesive securing the battery. It also took me a little longer than I expected to get the screws back into their appropriate locations. This was simply due to their size.

The information was super useful! My primary advice is that others use iFixit for their phone self-repairs! Best part of all? UPS had some unexplainable (per the UPS rep) issue attempting to deliver my package, resulting in my Next Day Air shipping becoming Second Day. I simply e-mailed iFixit and let them know that the UPS rep suggested I have them submit a claim so that I can be reimbursed. and Scott in Support wrote me back the next business day to apologize and tell me he had already refunded my shipping. Woo-hoo! Now THAT is service! The issue wasn't even iFixit's fault ... and I am one very happy customer! Regarding the repair, be prepared to deal with the teeny tiny screws. Patience is your friend!
