If you have the same kind of problem on your laptop it could be worth trying to change the DC-in before you go for a new logic board. The "genius" at the apple store (who has probbaly nothing to do with a real genius...) just wanted to charge me 800 quids to get my one-year laptop repaired...LOL Thanks to ifixit that just cost me 50...
