iPhone 4 (Verizon) Battery Replacement - SUPER EASY

Mijn probleem

My iPhone stopped charging, after 2 yrs and 2 months of use... the battery was already showing signs of decreased usage time, I would have to keep it plugged in nearly all day long. When it finally died I decided to try and replace the battery myself, and was surprised as how simple it was to do.

Mijn oplossing

Replacing the batter was easy, and the instructions provided by iFixIt were very easy to follow. I actually ended up taking the whole thing apart again just to show my husband how easy it was as well. He was just as shocked at the simplicity of the whole task.

Unfortunately, the battery wasn't my only problem, though it was bulging and the plastic over-wrap was a little melted, so it clearly needed replaced... BUT, the phone still wouldn't turn back on, so it didn't fix it. I believe it may be the charging port that is bad as well. I will be attempting to replace that next thanks to the easy instructions on iFixIt.com!

Mijn advies

Go slow, follow all instructions provided on the website for the replacement. Don't use the pull tab to get the battery out, just do like the video demonstration says and use the little plastic lifter tool.
