Tiny Screws and Fat Fingers During the Great LCD Repair

Mijn probleem

Some doofus shattered the LCD. It would appear someone hit it with a baseball...or a small grapefruit. It was clearly toast.

Mijn oplossing

Smoothly. I could tell someone had been inside the computer's guts before. They were sloppy.

Mijn advies

Keep the screws separated by area. LCD screws in one container, case screws in another and so forth. It's not super easy to tell the difference between 3mm screws and 3.25mm screws just by looking, and who really wants to dig out the calipers?
