How I regained my mobility

Mijn probleem

My partner and I have exactly the same computer. For a few months he has had a "check battery" status popping up on his computer, and I'd been on his back about it the entire time. "You REALLY need to sort that out!" I'd say, and he'd reply "Yeah yeah, I'll do it soon". As I was sitting on the couch one evening, watching something really awesome on my laptop (ahem, Dance Moms), I realised my battery was a little low, so I plugged it in. About half way through ... Dance Moms ... I decided I was hungry, and jumped up to grab something to eat, knocking the plug out as I did so. My laptop immediately switched off. I thought that was weird, but didn't think much more about it, plugged it back in, turned the computer back on and that's when I realised my battery wasn't charging at all. At 1050 cycles, it was officially dead :(. Now, my partner and I are preeeeeeetty poor at the moment - he's an artist, and I'm doing my Masters, so we're not earning a lot of money. I sadly lugged my computer around for a week or so, always making sure there was a power point nearby, and wondering how I could ever afford the exorbitant prices we are charged in NZ for replacement batteries ... and getting them replaced. That's when a friend of ours stepped in and recommended you guys! We ordered the battery (and borrowed our friends repair tools, since he had already ordered from you guys) - the package arrived SUPER fast - it actually takes me longer to receive packages from within New Zealand - so impressed!

Mijn oplossing

I'm not going to lie - I had every intention of replacing the battery myself, but my partner woke up before his alarm the day after the battery had arrived, and fixed it in 5 minutes without even telling me (I was still asleep!) When I woke up, it was all done, and he said the process was far easier than he expected, and the video tutorial really helped :) I was a bit sad I didn't get to do it myself. Still, he's at 950 cycles now, so I'll do his when it needs replacing!

Just follow the tutorials. You will have absolutely no issues at all, I promise.
