Panel/monitor replacement

Mijn probleem

I had a problem with a MacBook Panel/monitor - it was very unstable and by pressing the upper left backside of the panel/monitor i could get the monitor to work - but only for a limited time. After reading a few stories on the web i decided that a panel replacement would be the solution..

Mijn oplossing

After a few days the panel arrived with FedEx - very impressive - from US to Denmark in 3 days..

Disasembling and replacing was easy - but the connection switch between panel and body was causing some problems.. It wasent that well described in the guide - its a sort of hinge thats attached to the black tape - if you manage to "unhinge" the lock its pretty easy - but it took some time for me to figure out.. Be carefull.. Asembling again was smooth and now it works as new again..

And.. be aware... Even if you - as i do - do this within a company (With VAT number) you still have to pay extra for customs/import/VAT - my extra bill was 63 USD - almost half of the panel cost.. Stupid customs and their administrations cost..
