The right fan on my MacBook was running very loudly and had become almost unbearably noisy at full speed.

I ordered the replacement fan and the tool kit that was on sale - one cannot have too many tools can one?

The repair went very smoothly - the guides provided online were very descriptive and correct.

I removed the old part and insert the new part without any major challenges - everything booted back up just fine.

I'd forgotten how much cooler and quieter things were supposed to be!
