Mijn probleem
Horrendously slow fan speed (partially broken), over heating of the CPU, etc.
If it went about 80 degrees, the system shut down (occurred often, such as any high level internet or video usage).
Mijn oplossing
Great. I went slowly, was a bit afraid of irrevocably damaging my system, but it went swell. I had trouble taking off the upper casing, but I propped it open (imagine the hood for a car engine). I also found a very thick and disgusting layer of dust (half an inch of dust-lint complex. The spudger was kind of silly, any other "long and pointy" object probably would've went fine, but I'm glad I know have a computer-techie tool (its really great for pulling up the fan and moving wires.
Mijn advies
Find one of those compressed air cans and spray down the insides to help clean things up. These old macbooks get dusty.
Try your best NOT to lose any screws. Work on a sheet of black poster board or something to help you spot them as they get loose.
If you can find one, get a magnetic head screwdriver, to help with the tiny screws. Also, a pair of tweezers would work wonders.
