The connector for the battery has only one screw. The other end looked like it was connected under the shield. This stopped me once but I came back to it and tried to do the repair without taking the battery out. Got down to the dock but got stopped. Is the 4 dock connector different than the 4s? Cause I have a 4 but got a 4s connector. Well the antenna connector came off from under the battery connector and the back wouldn't squeeze back on without it being connected. So I went back in and pried up the shield next to the battery connector and found that there was no screw under it. The battery connector cover just prys up and out it comes. Well I put it back together pretty good without changing the dock. It works at present and if it stops again I will go back in. Left over parts were just two little ground tabs from somewhere.

This would work if I didn't have 64 year old eyes and big stumpy machinist hands. I would share a photo but when the battery is out the camera doesn't work : )
