Mijn probleem
I had a power flicker and the ps3 ran for 30 minutes after this and then powered off. It then proceeded to do the yellow light of death, which was boot up quietly beep, flash the yellow light, then blink red.
Mijn oplossing
The guide was extremely helpful. My product was slight different because it was the phat ps3 but didn't have a memory card reader. Once I found the arrows showing the order they are removed it became very simple.
The kit was awesome, I run a side business repairing computers and will definitely be using the screw drive kit as well as the spudger.
I had to do it twice because the guide suggested using the heat gun for 25 seconds each, and it only took briefly. The second time I did it quite a bit longer, and it seemed to take that time. It took about an hour the first time and about 30 the second, minus the time you have to wait for it to cool.

Definitely use the heat gun longer then suggested, someone gave me that advice and it worked.
Getting the components off is easy, make sure you keep the screws separate. Once you get to the motherboard covers, the screws holding it to the bottom case are marked with an arrow and the ones holding the top and bottom cover to the board are marked with an M arrow. This helped for knowing what order to remove and replace them.
