Mijn probleem
I love my MacBook Pro 15 and carry it everywhere! I took it back home to Alaska and on my return to the states, it received a few rough bumps and a hard slam from an airline baggage cart. I did not realize the damage until later.
Now the OS would stall and not open correctly and when I used the emergency techniques with APPLE, it still would not reinstall the OS properly. APPLE recommended shop inspection from a list of local dealers. I turned to FIXIT.
Mijn oplossing
Two years back, I successfully replaced a hard drive and installed a super drive into my other Mac G4 and was proud I did well and it all worked wonderfully. I went to the website, used the simple easy instructions on identifying properly the laptop I have and bingo! I was matched with several choices. I went for the biggest - a 750 - quite a step up from the 160 I had currently had.
I did not take note of the time it took to install my hard drive as it went so easy and quick, before I knew it I was ready to reverse my steps and put my laptop back together. It did not take me more than a couple of hours, that I do know. I love the feeling of accomplishment – thanks to FIXIT on my side, I can do anything I need.

Proper tools make a job go easier!
I decided to order the hard drive upgrade kit complete with the tool set. To top it off, I still remember chasing mini screws on the floor from a jostled sheet of paper years before, so I also ordered the PRO magnetic pad with additional cut outs on the back, giving me a choice as to which side I wanted to use.
Trust me, having the variety of tool tip bits and the magnetic board you can lay your tips on next to the corresponding screws makes a difference. The board is also a dry board so you can make ID notes with the dry erase pen that comes with it.
