Backlight didn't turn on.. now it's fixed!

The backlight only turned on, when the macbook was tilted at very specific angles.

Mijn oplossing

After doing two iPhone repairs, I was surprised that the repair was actually not quite as difficult as I had first imagined (since the parts and screws are all a little bigger than iPhone stuff).

Unfortunately I first bought the wrong cable (display cable instead of the inverter cable) and I only found out, when the Macbook was open... but with the Express delivery I got my new calbe within four days (including a weekend)... and I'm situated in Europe... so that made me happy.

Most of the repair went really well.. only removing the inverter cable (Step 32) made made me a little nervous, as I needed more force then I would wanted to apply...

Mijn advies

I took a plastic box for Ice Cubes (with many little compartments...) and put in the screws and little parts one after the other... that made putting the Macbook back together easy.

And, after doing three iPhone repairs, I bought some proper tools (spudger, big tweezer,...) - that came in handy.
