Mijn probleem
Bought my A1150 MB Pro from a friend at a good price. 100 GB HD was clicking...not good. Waited a year before I tackled the problem. Found iFixit when I was watching the news one night as the iPad was released...They bought it to tare it down! I started reading and watching your website. Then on a Monday my 1 year old 27" iMac HD mechanically crashed under warranty! Dropped it off @ Genius Bar. I told the tech about my MB Pro. He said Apple could do it or (I dropped "iFixit" name.) He replied "Good choice!" I came home and ordered the kit that night! It showed up by Wednesday and I went to work at 7am Saturday replacing my 100G with a 750G HD!
Mijn oplossing
I printed off both the Duping and HD replacement directions. Read them several times and had them handy as I worked. Laid out a piece of paper with numbers to track the screws. Duped the drive, rebooted from new drive, opened her up, swapped the drives, rebooted again, sealed her up. With duping and being methodical about opening and closing (I have big fingers and the screws are small) it took only 2 hours!

Really do love the engineering on the tool kit! But... I had to use needle nose pliers to get the different tips out of their dock. The door was in my way...but it is compact and very useful! Without the screw tray... number a piece of paper to track the screws.
