Mijn probleem

I have this MacBook CoreDuo 1,83 that I've been having for a while. It still enable me to do what I want it to do : running basic song Recording and Film editing programs and surfing on the internet. It's getting slower with age but eh, don't we all?

Anyway, there was this loud noise coming from the fan, using the guide, I opened my laptop and cleaned it. But it wasn't enough, so I bought a new fan through you guys, and, eh, why not, a Airport Extreme card with 802.11n compatibility.

Mijn oplossing

I printed the guide and I taped the screws to the appropriate picture with masking tape to make it easier to rebuild the computer.

Everything was exactly as the guide told, it worked first try, no problem. Easy and effective.

Now, my fan is as silent as can be and my internet connection... well, as fast as my old computer allows it to be... which isn't so bad.

Print and tape the screws to the appropriate picture. It's a little bit of waste (well, you could still try to use the tape for other purpose afterward but... eh) but it's worth it!
