Mijn probleem
Wanted more speed out of my fast computer. And a lot more speed I got. From time to time I would have my 2011 iMac access the HD for what ever reason and wait a few seconds. Apps take a few seconds to load as well now everything is instantaneous on the SSD. Startup times went from 1 min 17 sec on the HD to 23 sec on SSD. Huge change. Well worth the upgrade.

Upgrade went well and could not be happier. There was one cable not mentioned in the instructions but avoided any damage and have a working mac now running off the SSD with the hard drive as storage. I speed bump is quite dramatic. By far the #1 speed upgrade any can do to a computer.
Mijn advies
Be gentle. Some cables do not want to come out easily but better take 5 minutes getting one cable connector out rather than potentially ripping delicate wires out of the connector. And be meticulous. This is not an easy job... even just taking the screen off was a challenge. I would not want to do this again because I forgot to plug in a connector like some others may have done. Lastly there is no reason to take all the cables out mentioned on the instructions. Really you just need to tilt the logic board up enough to plug in the data/power cable and place the board back in. So the cable on the bottom of the board can stay. OH yeah remove the RAM before you start as well. Thats it good luck.
