Successful replacement of battery on Macbook Pro

Mijn probleem

The battery would no longer hold a charge. The laptop would not turn on without the 50W power supply.

Mijn oplossing

it was pretty straight forward. The glue was challenging, but I used the kit from iFixit that has the heat pad and the pry cards, and was able to get it loose.

Mijn advies

I would advise using the kit from iFixit. It really facilitated the fix.
