New camera module, fixed the pixel 2 camera crashing issue. But broke screen.

Pixel 2 rear camera crashing issue. Very common. In my case, I noticed focus issues before my camera stopped working completely. This I assumed mine was a physical hardware issue.

All fixed now. Camera good as new.

Mijn oplossing

I cracked the screen and chipped the OLED panel under the screen. I ordered and waited for a new screen. The rest of the repair went well.

Mijn advies

Be very careful when removing the screen. Heed all the advice. Watch some youtube. Use the heatgun/hairdryer.
