Dying battery doesn’t mean new phone!

Mijn probleem

After charging my iPhone 6 to full capacity, the battery would only last a few hours and I was back charging again. The closer I got to having the phone paid off, the worse it got. (Imagine that Apple) I am Determined to NEVER buy a new smart phone again just because of a dying battery!

Mijn oplossing

Easy job for me. Entire repair took about 30 minutes. I skipped the steps to disconnect cables at the top of the screen to remove it completely. Instead I used a rubber band and full bottle of peroxide to hold the screen up and out of my way without disconnecting the top ribbon cables.

Mijn advies

I Read on another review about wrapping the phone into a heating pad to loosen the screen and battery adhesive. Absolutely made it way easier to remove the screen. Light pressure when you begin to lift the screen is a must. Don’t completly remove the screen, instead secure it with a rubber band to a heavy object such as a full soda. Battery adhesive no fun if the tabs break off under the battery so take caution when pulling these strips out. Slow and steady pressure is the key. Also make sure when you replace the battery adhesive tabs inside the phone that you have the black tab ends on the right side before you lay the strip inside the phone. Mine were installed upside down, no problem except renstreipnwont stock to the top of the battery.
