The original battery was lasting about ~90 minutes while in Low Power Mode from 100%.

Mijn oplossing

I received the new battery and all the necessary tools to complete the repair. I was a bit scared about doing the adhesive myself. Minus an initial break in the tape, I was able to take a deep breath and think about what's going on.

Mijn advies

When removing the adhesive, do not do it in a cold room. I made this mistake and the inner most adhesive snapped almost immediately when I tried to remove it. I warmed up the device a little bit and then did the outer adhesive. Once the outer adhesive was removed, I used a credit card like card (not an actual credit card, didn't want to potentially damage the card) to disconnect the adhesive from the battery and removed the battery. Once the battery was out, I easily removed the adhesive.

After the battery was successfully replaced... when I tried to charge it to 100% it wouldn't charge past 5% over a 3-day period. I tried a different USB port and it's now 100% charged and working perfectly after 2 days.
