Tricky removal, but easy reassembly

It's clear that an intact front panel would have made the repair go much more smoothly, but given the difficulty of maintaining proper suction between the suction cup and cracks, many heating iterations and creative taping were necessary to get the panel started, and then it had to come out in pieces as there simply wasn't enough structure to properly peel back the adhesive in all spots. Despite that, once removed and cleaned I couldn't believe how easily it went back together. The replacement panel was very straightforward to handle even after the adhesive backing was removed, and even guiding the flexes into place was intuitive.

Next time I have to do this, I'll spend more time taping the front with more air-sealable joints between pieces of tape, or use wider packing tape that is the wider than the suction cup for a more air tight seal; I fully believe that I could've shaved an hour off the disassembly, something I'm sure experienced repair personnel learn quickly....
