Mijn probleem
Screen was fine, but there was a dead spot where the touchscreen wasn't working. Phone practically useless since the dead spot was pretty big.
Mijn oplossing
The repair went fairly well, had a little bit, but very minor, of trouble following the directions. In the end for some reason the home button didn't feel like it was installed right as the button doesn't go fully down anymore, but now I can actually use the phone so that is something very minor to me at this point.
Mijn advies
Be careful while prying the screen from the phone, as I eneed up cracking the faulty screen. It's not like it mattered since it wasn't working anymore but that just shows how fragile those pieces are. Moreover, when tightening the screws make sure you don't over tighten them! They may feel like they're still loose, as they will stop turning all of a sudden, but that's fine since the screw is very tiny. You don't want to strip a screw that tiny! Last but not least, when installing the new screen and you're at the point where you're putting it together with the rest of the phone, make sure you press HARD on all edges and sides before putting in the 2 bottom screws, as I put one in before the screen was fully in and I had to take the screen off again just to get that silly screw out. Again, it does take quite some force for the clips to click, although I don't know if mine was especially hard to put together because my iPhone had some dents here and there.
