Great Product but iPhone did not recover.

Battery would only hold a charge for about 10 minutes.

Mijn oplossing

Replaced the battery without any complications but after putting everything back together the phone would not charge, turn on or respond in any way. Not sure if I accidentally hit something or shorted something. I have replaced iPhone batteries in the past and have not had any problems like this. I took it to a shop and they think the screen in shot but they could not be sure. So now I have to decided if I want to spend more money on a new screen that I am not sure is going to fix any already aged device.

If you are not 100% confident in your ability to get in and out the dedicated internals of the iPhone, I would highly suggest paying someone to perform the repairs for you so if something doesn't go right, they have to pay to fix it. I have been an electronics technician for 20+ years and normally this job is very simple for me but when something does go wrong and you do not have the specialized equipment to troubleshoot an iPhone you could end up spending more money than the phone is worth to fix it.
