Repair went fine, iFixit customer service is excellent
Battery capacity was low.
The adhesive broke when I was first started to pull it, as happened with others, but I was able to lift the battery and snag it to finish the job.
Not advice, just praise. My experience with iFixit was excellent. Although iFixit warned about delays with receiving a battery at the time of purchase, due to transit regulations preventing flights, I didn't think it would take more than 3 weeks. After tracking showed it hadn't moved for 3 weeks, and was still on the other side of the country, I requested a refund. Augie was more generous than I could have expected. He offered a significant discount on the replacement battery, and bumped up the shipping method to Guaranteed then UPS Ground to ensure I received it. I received it within the week, and the repair went well. Due to a mixup in the cost of the shipping method, the discount ended up making the order free, which naturally motivates me to want to give iFixit as much business as possible in the future to make up for this. This is the best customer service I've ever had by far.
