Mijn probleem

I spilled iced tea on my laptop in 2014. I was quickly dried it off, and restarted my computer. Everything worked perfect except that I could no longer connect to a Wifi network. Where the signal strength insicator usually was, it was blank and said "No Hardware Installed." I took it to Apple, who wanted $800 for the repair bc they said they'd probably have to change the whole logic board and that I was better off buying a new computer. I couldn't afford it, so I went 3 years without a laptop, and saved any work that I did on a flash drive to print or email on another computer. Finally, in 2017 I thought to teather my computer through Bluetooth to my phone, and I was able to get back on the internet without wifi. I began looking into possible causes of why it wouldn't connect to Wifi, but I knew that it was something repirable after this. I stumbled upon forums that indicated the AirPort/Bluetooth card and the foubd iFixit which made it so simple to change. And the best part is, that it only cost me $60! I was almost ready to buy a new laptop for medical school, which I really could not afford. I'm so happy that I was able to fix my computer, thanks to iFixit!

Mijn oplossing

Perfectly!

Mijn advies

If you think that a company wants to rip you off, do your own research before making any decisions. It's a lot easier thab you think. I would never had thought that I'd be able to fix a laptop. I'm not a technical guy. But it was very easy.
