Mijn probleem
I dropped my iPhone 5S on some pavement on Christmas Day. The screen was shattered.
Mijn oplossing
The screen repair went fairly well, however now the proximity sensor does not work. I disassembled the phone and made sure the proximity sensor was seated in the little plastic holder on the new screen. Still no luck, so now I am wondering if I somehow damaged the sensor while removing it from the old screen assembly. I am going to try a new front camera/sensor assembly.
Mijn advies
My old screen had a small rubber gasket for the ambient light sensor that I had to transfer over to the new screen. I don't believe the guide mentioned this.
