Mijn probleem
My iPhone 4, which was about 18months old, quit charging without warning one night. I never had any issue with the battery not holding a charge as long, or not charging prior to this. I plugged it in before I slept that night, assuming it would be fully charged that morning. The charging indicator did go on, and the phone did it's classic connection chime. When I woke up, the battery did not charge one bar, and even lost charge over night. I checked connections, tried different chargers, rebooted the phone, reset my phone to factory settings, nothing worked. The phone would show a charger was connected, but would not charge.
I decided to replace the battery hoping it would fix the problem, otherwise I would have to pay for a new (and expensive) iPhone.
Mijn oplossing
The repair took 15 minutes, longer because I was being overly cautious. Using the guide, and after viewing the video, the repair was a breeze.
I rebooted my phone, and the phone works good as new. This battery holds a charge as good, if not better then my phone did before!
Mijn advies
There is access material that connects the battery to the connector clip. Fold this out of the way before connecting the clips, so that you dont apply pressure to the connector prongs. Very simple to do.
