Mijn probleem
Problem was that my home button was working periodically and the display started to get some lines in it.
Mijn oplossing
The video was very helpful. The only issue I ran into was when pulling up the display, I did not get the plastic tool deep enough in the case so I pulled off the glass vs. the entire display. Glad I had ordered a new display. One thing I did find was that my battery was starting to fill with gas and it was expanding the outer covering of the battery. Decided to replace the battery as I think it would only get worse.

Ultimately, I believe the home button was fine and the display was probably ok as well. I think the battery was the problem. As it filled up with gas, it was putting pressure on the display and lifting it up enough to cause some distortion in the display and possibly lifting up enough to affect the home button. Only conjecture at this point, but I now have a new battery, display and home button.
