Mijn probleem
I usually keep my iPod in my car hooked up by USB to my car stereo and most days it wouldn't work because of a low battery. Only after about ten minutes driving would it come on and then it would work the rest of my drive. However, the next time I would get in my car it wouldn't remember my last song or album and start from the beginning of my albums. I thought for sure it was the battery because of the age of it and that it stays in my car most of the time so it shouldn't be damaged.
Mijn oplossing
Starting off I was a little intimidated by the difficult to repair rating but I was patient and eventually I got it open. However, after finishing replacing the battery I found that it wouldn't turn on unless plugged into the wall. 12V in my car wasn't enough to run it, said the battery was low and needed to charge but never came on.
Mijn advies
I realized after reading some forums that the problem is most likely my logic board so now I have to decided if I'm going to spend the money and replace it and risk a bad diagnoses again.
