Mijn probleem
My iPhone5S battery died in 4 hours of non operation.
Mijn oplossing
Used a heavy bottle to rubber band the screen to vertical and did not disconnect screen cables.
Did not note position of touch button cable metal cover in detail and had to look very carefully at videos and instructions to get correct position. The replacement process was very delicate, and I was worried that efforts to remove the battery (not easy) had bent the ridge the clip attaches to. I did not experience any reassuring snap or clunk (etc.) to let me know the touch cable was properly seated with its teensy little connector pins touching teensy pins.
Battery removal with heat was slow and potentially damaging to interior parts, physically and heat-wise. Bottom of battery (end by touch cable) had a bit of excess cover that looked like the excess/extention of the adhesive strips. Hard to tell which I was trying to pry out. With heat was able to start removal from long side opposite battery connector location. Battery became somewhat flexible.
Battery connector not easy to refit to receptor, cable did not nestle or bend to make easy contact.
Time was longer due to battery hard to remove and delicacy in reconnecting cables.
Mijn advies
Reconnecting cables is tricky and the battery removal is hard. But the phone now holds charge for 2 days easily.
