I fixed it, but not without a few mishaps
Mijn probleem
I broke the glass and digitizer in addition to mildly damaging the LCD.
Mijn oplossing
I did everything I needed to do. When I first started up my phone, the screen wouldn't turn on, which is obviously a problem. The phone was buzzing, so I knew I hadn't broken the power cable (which I was a little worried about because I broke off a bit of plastic by accident). I opened the phone back up and disconnected and reconnected everything. Luckily this worked. I did nearly strip a few screws, one I almost couldn't remove. I can't find any replacement screws, so I only have like 10 screws in my phone rather than the 20 that it started with. I should mention that I started with a screwdriver from another company, which was cheaply made (the screwdriver bent at the tip and nearly stripped the screws). When I couldn't get the screws out, I just bought a bit set (the 64 Bit Driver Kit) from here, which worked wonders.
Mijn advies
Don't buy budget screwdrivers. Get them from here, or go the extra mile and get a bit kit. Be careful with the screws on this thing; they are super easy to strip. Be super careful when disconnecting flex cables. TL;DR be careful, go the extra mile and buy reliable tools
