Mijn probleem

Old screen seemed to show a crack. It's my daughter's machine and she just cannot imagine how it cracked. I think it might have something to do with the dents in the case as well.

Mijn oplossing

Repair went smoothly. I got a little careless on one of the last steps of the tear down (pulled the little adhesive tabs holding the antenna wires out of their slot, making a little more work for myself). Other than that, everything went fine.

Mijn advies

Even though reassembly is essentially just reversing the steps, it might be good to provide a few cautions for particular steps. For example: make sure that all wires and cables are clear from under the logic board before you replace the screws. A novice like me could benefit from a few pointers on reassembly.
