Very smooth with one bump (the rubber guard protecting the ribbon cables connecting the digitizer (front glass unit) fell out when I got everything un-screwed and disconnected and dismantled (I thought) and turned the phone over to pull the glass off and the connectors through the front. I freaked because I didn't know where it came from.

Your guide on this work doesn't show this tiny rubber guard....at all. I spent two hours zooming in on every picture in your photo gallery before I finally noticed a "comment" about this on the re-install "note" on inserting the ribbon cables.
I think you should put a special note just about removing this tiny rubber guard in your guide so folks are prepared that it could just .. fall out if they don't deliberately remove it... and will know where to put it back. :)
All in all though your site (and tools) made this repair one great experience and put my mind at ease. You guys are great. Thanks.
