Gripstick is a wonder tool!

Mijn probleem

My headphone adapter plug tip broke off in my I pad headphone port. The broken tip prevented audio response from my I pad. I carried my iPad to two iPhone repair businesses that quoted $125 to get the stuck plug tip out and... Warned that their attempted repair may break my screen or cause other damage.

I carried it to Best Buy's Geek Squad and they didn't have a clue how to get it out. So I drove to Birmingham 60 miles away and spoke to the Genius desk at the main Apple Store there. Their best advice was the glue on a toothpick method....so I tried and failed. Then I saw the ad for Gripstick. The tool looked like it would work. I ordered it and got it within 3 days.

Mijn oplossing

Took the gripstick out of the package, inserted it into the iPad port and rotated the tool a couple times. I turned the iPad port toward the ground and pulled the Gripstick out. Bam oh !!!! The broken tip fell out. iPad works great! A MIRACLE!!

Mijn advies

Skip the repair shops. If a broken adapter plug tip is stuck in your electronic device, get a Gripstick .
