Mijn probleem
The playstation would not start up. Yellow light flash and then red.My two sons bought the ps3 and were debating paying the 150 or replacing it. I talked them into gambling on me :).
Mijn oplossing
The repair went well with one exception. I had a little confusion with the thermal paste. I misinterpreted that you only had to put it on the cpu/gpu and not the heat sink - thinking they would "paste" together. Put it back together, started it and it immediately overheated. That was the only thing I could think of, so I took it apart again and pasted the heat sink. Sons were extremely happy, but the internet was not working. Took it apart again and saw that the ribbon had dislodged on my second go around. So... it took me about 3+ hours, but I did it. Got new found respect from my kids (and husband) and had fun doing it!
