Mijn probleem

My Bluetooth connection was not very stable from time to time and among other issues and I thought it made good sense to replace the airport card.

Mijn oplossing

It went well! I did have to make the repair three times because after the first time I replaced the card I booted up my computer and when I tried to access the internet, almost all of the web pages were giving me an encryption error saying my connection was not secure.

I decided that the card may be broken so I took it out and put my old card back in and again booted up my machine. I tried to access www.google.com again and a few other major websites but I was still receiving the connection security error! Just before I powered off my laptop again I noticed the date and time was not correct and thought that this could possibly be the cause of my security error.

I made the repair one last time and put the new card in and when I booted up my machine I made sure to update the date and time so that it was current and then tried the internet; I was so happy that it finally worked!

Mijn advies

I would recommend that after this repair the user ensure the date and time are up to date or else they may receive security errors stating their connection is not secure when trying to browse the internet.
