Mijn probleem

My wife's Macbook battery expanded, blowing out the trackpad and stretching the back cover. I guess it's $129 from apple to replace the battery, but we don't live near an apple store. I ordered the battery from IFIXIT and it was about $106 with tax. I searched other batteries on Amazon and other stores that were cheaper but didn't want to buy something that wouldn't last. I bought a $4 set of screwdrivers that included the tri wing that I needed. In all I saved about $20, but I didn't have to wait and got the battery in a very reasonable time frame.

Mijn oplossing

Easy as unscrewing a few screws and carefully removing the old battery. It was as simple as repairs go.

Mijn advies

Label your screws as they come out. Some are a little different and might not fit correctly when you try to put them in a different hole.
