Mijn probleem

Original battery was dying quick.

Mijn oplossing

Repair was fairly easy. Had my wife hold a magnifying glass over the inside of phone. That helped.

I read several stories on the Internet that said many iPhone batteries were already dead upon arrival.

Took my chance with iFixit and it works great. New battery has been in there over a week now. The old battery had to be charged twice a day. The new iFixit one it lasting over 2 days.

Their are a couple excellent Youtube videos. Watch those.

There is a tiny little part that falls out when you take one of the internal battery screws out, Not sure if it's a ground or antenna part. It is critical that you see how that part is positioned, You have to reinstall it exactly the same way when installing the new battery. One of those Youtube videos makes it real clear how to do that. Had I not seen that, this install may not have worked, It's a bit tricky. I have the feeling that some that say these batteries don't work, did not reinstall that part correctly. The iFit battery instructions do not mention this part. Be sure to watch Youtube.
