iMac hard drive replacement

Mijn probleem

Internal 1Tb hard drive developed a SMART failure and would no longer boot.

Mijn oplossing

After reading the guide several times, and making sure I had everything ready, I followed the instructions and successfully replaced with a 4 Tb drive.

Then reinstalled OS X.

Mijn advies

Remember, you can't read the guide too often!

Be careful when removing the screen data cables (those side clips are almost invisible).
