Mijn probleem
The phone had a hard "meeting" with the floor, and the screen "developed" a nice fractal pattern. It still worked, but, besides being annoying it was dangerous too.
Mijn oplossing
I've had the pentalobe, phillips screwdrivers, and the plastic spudger from an earlier repair. The suction cup was useless in this case (cracked screen). I used some duct tape folded in the middle to help lift the screen.
I took someone's advice to disconnect the battery first. The home button , and the cable from the backplate needs to be heated before removal, I used a hair drier on low setting. The rest was easy. Reassembled it (Do Not Close it Up!!) checked, and the screen had lines, then it got worse,no more image. You must make sure that the plugs are snapped back in position. Mainly the uppermost, that's the screen connector. Do not replace the battery connector cover until you're done with the rest. Before every try and jiggle, disconnect the battery. When you get the right picture and the touch works, replace the upper shield (5 screws), than the battery cover. Close everything up. Wait for the thankyou kiss

My wife was very proud that she bought insurance from Verizon for her iPhone. Great!! But, the insurance is from a third party, and they charge a $169 deductible to exchange the phone ( with another used one), plus the $10/ month fee. The deal of a lifetime!
