Mijn probleem
I dropped my phone something happened that has never happened to me before. I picked up my phone, and spreading across the whole phone from the volume button was a spider web of cracks. Glass flakes were falling out, and it was very difficult to use my phone from that point on.
Mijn oplossing
I have some experience with the internal workings of electronics. I've done this repair for an iPhone 5s, and I've also done several hard drive replacements for Apple computers. This repair by far is the easiest and quickest fix I've ever done. By spending the little bit of extra money and getting the assembly WITH the front camera built in, the repair was as simple as popping the old screen out and putting the new one in.
Mijn advies
One thing that the repair guide does not prepare you for is moving your home button over from the old screen to the new. It's not difficult - just pop the wire off of the old screen and plug it back in on the new one. Just beware that this is something not accounted for in the instructions. Regardless, this was a SUPER easy fix, even for somebody that doesn't consider themselves tech-savvy.
