Finally got a reliable and long lasting battery for my iPhone 4S!

Mijn probleem

My 3 years old iPhone 4S had a bad battery life and wont even sustain 1 day with little usage with wifi off. Battery life is even worse if wifi is turned on and the battery indicator went crazy, jumping from 50% to 20% and shut off without any warning. When I charge it, it turn on immediately and show 50% battery remaining. I installed ibackupbot on my pc and did a battery cycle check. It has already underwent 860 charge cycle.

Mijn oplossing

I bought many iPhone batteries from eBay at around 3 dollars each and none of them really helped. Most of them has a charge cycle of more than 300 and battery life is as bad. At last, I bought this replacement battery from iFixit and it arrived within 2 weeks. Did a battery replacement under 30 minutes with guide from iFixit. It has a battery cycle of 2 which means it is brand new. Have been using this battery for a week now and it has been excellent!

Mijn advies

Never buy replacement battery from eBay! Those are used battery with more than 300 cycle count. I've wasted 15 dollars on those cheap batteries.
