Mijn probleem

Weeks after I got it there was a problem with the power button. Unfortunatly I bought in the USA and lived abroad so I couldnt return. Luckily the case I have worked to restart. After the 5.02 update my tablet would get stuck in a loop where it would "update apps" for 5-10 min then restart itself. Called Google they said it was hardware related, called Asus they said the software caused it and pay$200 for the repair. Bottom line... last Nexus device that I'mbuying.

Mijn oplossing

The repair was easy once I had the iFixit tutorial in front of me. Took me about 10 min. And finally the tablet is running as good as new with the initial software which is how it will stay. Power button works again as well :)

Mijn advies

My theory is that Google strongarms the nexus manufacturers to make them a device to spec but doesnt take any responsibility for the product produced. Kind of adversarial...

Take matters into your own hands and save yourself hours on hold and on the phone with people who are not allowed to help you.
