Mijn probleem
iPad 2 Digitizer was in pretty worse for wear shape and iPhone 5 battery went from full to empty in a few hours.
Mijn oplossing
The hard repair. iPad 2 Digitizer came off in no less than 1 million small glass fragments. With some patients and some careful elbow grease, the digitizer was off. New one on and like new in a few minutes. This is the repair that i thought i might be tossing the iPad in the garbage and getting a new one.
The easy repair. The iPhone 5 has a few screws, pull the screen up, pry the battery out, put in new battery, done. Turned iPhone on to check repair. Nope. Maybe it needs a charge. Nope. Take apart 20 more times. Nothing. I must have been too aggressive pulling up the screen and broke a wire. I could hear the phone working but nothing on the screen. Tossed in the garbage and off to Apple for a new iPhone. Proud owner of a new iPhone 6s.
Mijn advies
The option to repair these devices yourself is awesome. ifixit gives a great and cheap option to fix your device rather than get a new one. The kit options are perfect. Great advice on this sight also.
