My Wife my life. How I put my marriage at risk trying to fix my wifes iphone 5.

Mijn probleem

Wife's iphone was dying like not even lasting a nice day out where we were out for more than 3 hours. Using the camera was depleting the battery extremly fast and unnaturally would shut down with even 25 percent remaining on the battery.

Mijn oplossing

I watched the you tube video half way and looked at the pictures a bit and deciding I can handle this and started immediately after. The screen came out fast, didnt even have to use the prying tools. The tool came in handy after to pry other stuff off. The tools provided were perfect and nice. After the screen I didnt take the screen completly off but held it with one hand, gently placing it down when I needed both hands like to put the screws to the side in the box they provide and a bowl I had. Then the two simple screws, one to unlatch the cover of the battery connection and the other to allow the cap to slide away from where you need to pull the battery connector off. After it came loose and I heard it pry out I easily unlatched it and when replacing it dropped right in but then getting the connector back was a little tricky and took the longest. In all I got it back rather fast and reversed the rest and spent less than 10 mins from start to end.

I must stress how glued the battery is so be careful with that part and listen to where they say to pry the battery.
