Mijn probleem
iPad 2 - shattered glass --not just cracked - shattered with part of the glass missing and the wifi/bluetooth cable exposed. iPad worked fine, just left glass in your fingers!
Mijn oplossing
Took about 4 hours to completely remove all the broken glass. I applied tape as suggested, but this glass was just that messed up, pieces and sections of glass missing, so the tape could not provide enough stability. It did however help to not allow the broken glass to touch the LCD underneath. The iOpener worked well for the long straight almost intact edges, but for the little stuff left over once the main glass and LCD were removed I used a hairdryer on hot and low in short bursts along with tweezers and more tape. Once it was all gone, I turned the back over to shake out the loose tiny shards, and more tape & tweezers to get the stubborn spots. But the new glass went in smooth - and looks great! the kit was well worth the price!

If glass is shattered (not just cracked) and you don't have patience find a professional. and be prepared to work on it slow and steady.
