Mijn probleem
In a freak accident my iPad 2 Mini 4G was slammed in my truck door jam shattering the digitizer and bending the iPad in a v-shape in the middle by the charge port.
Mijn oplossing
Great! The digitizer had to be removed literally inch by inch with a spudger and exacto blade. Very messy and a very careful and slow process. Once the LCD and digitizer was removed I used c-clamps, wood, and cardboard to bend the frame back in place.
Mijn advies
Take your time and do not rush removing the broken digitizer. It takes quite some time if it is badly shattered. I recommend getting an unused scroll or paint brush to whisk away the glass shards from the LCD - DO NOT WIPE THEM.
