Mijn probleem
The 5400RPM HDD had seen better days. It was slow, slow, slow. Also installed a total of 4GB of Ram. It now performs like a much newer system. I think we have a couple more years of productive use from it.
Mijn oplossing
The repair went very smooth. Since I had the Pro Tech Toolkit, all the steps where easy as I had the right tool for the job.
Mijn advies
When an upgrade like this is being done, I would suggest that you put a recommendation to use some compressed air and dust out the cooling fan while it's all apart. I always do that when ever I open a machine up.
